LOCTITE® 7117 is a two-component solvent-free epoxy coating with a ceramic filler. Its purpose is to protect metal surfaces against abrasive and corrosive substances. It can be used as a smooth coating to protect metal surfaces or as an external coating with low surface friction applied to Loctite Nordbak wear-resistant coatings.
Typical applications include repairs and protection of heat exchangers, capacitors, protection of tanks, chutes, valve bodies or rotor pump bodies.
