LOCTITE 7257 (Magna-Crete) is a unique two-component, instant curing product for concrete repair and restoration of cavities, which works much better than other traditional concrete repair methods.
LOCTITE 7257 (Magna-Crete) a perfectly working product based on magnesium phosphate, cures faster than concrete and, unlike concrete, adheres to both fresh and old concrete as well as most construction materials, such as wood and steel .

Because LOCTITE 7257 (Magna-Crete) works without the addition of water, this repair product can be used at any temperature without the risk of shrinking. In addition, the product is resistant to freezing, thawing and salt to prevent freezing.

This product is intended primarily for repairing high concrete walls, holes in roads, runways, anchoring, industrial cooling floors, loading docks, flooding benches and foundations, columns, bridgeways, parking links, concrete columns, floor repairs, ramps, flooding tracks, anchor bolts and handrails.

This product is usually used in applications with a temperature range of -26 ° C to + 1090 ° C.

Application instructions

1. Preparation: for best results, the surface must be clean, dry and free of loose deposits. Remove all dirt, bituminous mix and oily substances from the area to which we will apply the product so that the surface is rough and clean.

2. Forms: if molds are needed, molds made of plastic or mold Formica should be used.

3. Mixing: in order to mix the product, add the filler to the activator and mix well. Add the amount of activator to achieve the consistency needed for the application. Mix approximately 3.8 liters of activator with 20.4 kg of filler (in approximately 1: 5 proportions). The product should be mixed immediately before applying to the surface.

4. Pouring deep gaps: in the case of repairs of gaps with a depth exceeding 2.5 cm, add 13.6 kg of dry pea gravel to every 20.4 kg of Magna-Crete as a filling. Dry pebble gravel should be added to the activator before mixing the Magna-Crete® filler. For large applications, use the HOT WEATHER MIX hot mix (summer additive) to extend the setting time and obtain a longer opening time.

5. Water: the surface on which the product is applied can be damp, but the standing water should be removed from it. You should not use water to dilute the fluid, nor to dilute the consistency of Magna-Crete®.

6. Low temperature application: in the case of low temperature applications, the settling time is extended. For applications at temperatures below 7 ° C, a low temperature mix should be used (COLD WEATHER MIX - winter additive) (one 0.45 kg packet per 20.4 kg Magna-Crete which shortens the curing time by an average of 10 minutes) to speed up the fixing time of the mixed ingredients . The winter additive should be added after thorough mixing with Magna-Crete, immediately prior to application of Magna-Crete or by blasting the opening with the product.

7. Application at high temperature: in the case of application at a temperature exceeding 29 ° C, use a high temperature mix (HOT WEATHER MIX - summer supplement) (one 0.45 kg packaging for 20.4 kg Magna-Crete which extends the curing time by about 10 minutes ) to balance exothermic reaction and product open time after mixing ingredients. The summer supplement should be mixed thoroughly with the liquid Magna-Crete suspension. Then Magna-Crete can mix and apply / pour holes.

8. Cleaning: in the vicinity of the application site, a sufficient supply of water should be prepared to clean the mixer and tools as soon as the product starts to cure, which takes 9 to 15 minutes at 20 ° C.
