Remover / degreaser
LOCTITE 7840 is a concentrated, biodegradable cleaner / degreaser that does not contain water-resistant solvents; it is widely used in industry.
Application
• Applications: engines, exhaust system casings, compressors, forgings, castings, molds, dies, concrete floors, floor coverings, walls, tanks, roadways, garages and car parks, external facades, windows, etc.
• Removed substances: greases, oils motor, carbonta, animal fat, lubricants, tar, food stains, mold, cooling lubricants, road salt, wax, soot, etc.

Application instructions
1. Dilute Loctite 7840 with warm or cold water.
2. Parts should be immersed or covered with Loctite 7840 and then cleaned by rubbing and rinsing.
Note:
The best results are obtained with high product concentration, dilution with warm water, intensive rubbing and scrubbing as well as long-term surface contact.
The dilution levels depend on the type and amount of substance to be removed and the type of surface to be cleaned.
The best solution is to start cleaning with a highly concentrated product, and then gradually dilute it to an economically justified level, ensuring at the same time adequate cleaning efficiency.
Loctite 7840 may damage the painted surfaces if diluted less than 1:20. Remover residues may act as inhibitors during the curing of anaerobic products.
Recommended dilution levels.

• Washing and degreasing heavily soiled parts. Baths and immersion washers - 1: 1 to 1: 4
• Washing and degreasing medium-soiled parts. Cleaning of trailers and semi-trailers, concrete floors, washing using pressure equipment, steam cleaners and floor cleaning machines - 1:16 to 1:32
• Washing lightly soiled parts. Workplaces, windows, walls, woodwork, furniture, floor coverings, counters - 1:64 to 1: 128
Storage.
Unless otherwise indicated on the product label, the ideal method of storage will be to keep it in closed containers in a cool and dry room between 8 ° C and 28 ° C (46 ° F to 82 ° F). The optimal storage temperature is the lower half of this range.
