Terokal 2444 is a contact adhesive based on polychloroprene, for bonding rubber with rubber and rubber with metal, which can be applied with a brush or a spatula. This adhesive is characterized by high rigidity and good adhesion. The bonded joint is flexible and resistant to high temperatures.
Application.
Terokal 2444 glues rubber materials from solid and porous rubber, as well as soft materials (eg polyester foams), felt or damping mats for rubber, steel sheet (raw, phosphated, primed and varnished), wood, polyester materials, roofing felt, Twice on PVC and leather. Terokal 2444 is successfully used in car workshops for gluing rubber profiles and floor coverings. In addition, it can be attached with door seals, insulation mats, and in particular damping and damping mats for wooden and metal surfaces.
Application instructions.
The glued surfaces must be dry, free from grease and oil. Rubber parts should be cleaned of talcum and other preservatives. The adhesive should be mixed before use. Terokal 2444 should be applied on both sides and evenly with a brush or spatula (smooth or finely serrated) on the surfaces of glued materials. Glued parts according to the instructions, depending on the adhesive layer applied, ambient temperature, ventilation of the room, humidity should be left for 5 to 15 minutes to evaporate . Fix the glued elements in a proper position relative to each other and press firmly.
